PETS

Since 2014, I lost two of my cats. One to cancer and the other to chronic pancreatitis. In 2016, I lost my soul dog when I had to let Wiz go. I loved my cats, but Wiz was extra special. Seventeen years ago I picked out a little cairn terrier puppy whose sole purpose was to enjoy life to the fullest.

I had to let Mr. Potter, my monster black cat, go in 2017 and, in 2019, Sassy, a terrier mix who loved unconditionally and was loved by the past and neighbor cats. Since then I have been petless, but lately I have been visiting the rescue sites . . .

RIP Terry’s Mister Wizard (Wiz)

My first terrier and definitely not my last. Wiz is a cairn terrier and is now 16 (here he's about 10).

RIP my Sassy girl. The best guess to Sassy’s lineage is part westie, schnauzer, maybe silkie and all terrier. She loved Wiz and seemed to know she was meant to be his companion.

It is so hard to keep her this white.

And she loves Wiz.

And the cats.

RIP Samson the Snitch.

RIP Mz Beazley. Wanted to be an only.

RIP Mister Potter is the biggest/tallest cat I have ever had and I wouldn’t be surprised if he weighed 20 pounds.
