I woke up to drizzles and left in sunshine. It rained then sleeted, then the sun came out as I traveled through Snowdonia. I was on my way to Ruthin for the Masterson workshop.
Drivers here drive crazy fast and the really curvy roads were wet. It rained off and on. The sun peeked out and cast a bright yellow light on the valley.
Taking a break from speeding drivers and having huge “bin” (trash) truck speeding past on the right, I stopped at the Ty Hyll tearoom.
After squash and pumpkin soup, I was back on the road heading for Betws y Coed. I had in mind to make a revisit to a pottery studio and see if I could find a gift and a tea strainer.
Didn’t find a strainer, but I did lose my car keys. I found them after retracing my steps. Someone had picked them up and placed them on a post near where I had to drop them.
Back on my route, I stopped for an incredible cup of hot chocolate (no photo, too good to stop and shoot).
